Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation, Inc. ("CFC"), as a Catholic lay association of the faithful, is committed to protecting and securing the personal information entrusted to it in carrying out its mission, ministry activities, programs, and events.
CFC processes personal information in accordance with the Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, its implementing rules and regulations, and other applicable privacy and data protection laws in jurisdictions where CFC operates.
For event registration and participation, CFC may collect personal information including, but not limited to:
Full name
Date of birth or age
Gender
Civil status (when applicable)
Religious affiliation (when applicable to ministry activities)
Contact information, including telephone number and email address
Emergency contact information
Medical, dietary, or accessibility information voluntarily provided for participant safety
Registration and payment information
Personal information collected through event registration may be used for the following purposes:
Event planning, administration, and coordination
Participant identification and attendance tracking
Communication regarding event details, updates, and related activities
Emergency response and participant safety
Internal record keeping and ministry administration
Verification of membership or participation records
Compliance with legal, regulatory, or organizational requirements
CFC commits to maintaining appropriate safeguards to protect collected personal information and keep it confidential.
Access to personal information is limited to authorized leaders, personnel, volunteers, and designated service providers who require access for legitimate organizational purposes.
Personal information will not be sold, disclosed, or shared with unauthorized third parties without consent, except when disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or necessary for legitimate event-related purposes.
Participants, or their parents/legal guardians when applicable, may request access to, correction of, updating, or deletion of personal information, or withdraw consent where permitted by applicable law.

By completing registration, the participant (if 18 years of age or older), or the participant's parent/legal guardian (if the participant is a minor):
Confirms that the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge.
Freely consents to the collection, processing, storage, and use of personal information for the purposes described in this notice.
Understands that personal information may be stored in CFC's authorized databases and systems used for ministry and event administration.
Acknowledges the right to access, correct, update, or withdraw consent regarding personal information, subject to applicable privacy laws.
Participation in CFC events and activities is voluntary.
By completing registration, the participant (if 18 years of age or older), or the participant's parent/legal guardian (if the participant is a minor):
Gives permission for participation in the event and related activities.
Understands that participation may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to travel, recreation, physical activities, group activities, and use of event facilities.
Voluntarily assumes responsibility for these risks.
Releases and holds harmless CFC, its leaders, volunteers, representatives, affiliates, and event partners from claims, liabilities, damages, or demands arising from participation in the event, including personal injury, illness, or property loss, except where prohibited by applicable law.
In the event of an emergency, the participant or parent/legal guardian authorizes event organizers to obtain necessary medical care, transportation, or emergency services when immediate treatment is required and reasonable efforts to contact the emergency contact cannot be completed.
The participant or parent/legal guardian understands that medical expenses, treatment costs, and related charges remain the responsibility of the participant and/or their family.
This waiver shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where the event is conducted, without limiting any rights or protections provided under applicable law.
CFC events are intended to provide a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all participants.
All participants agree to:
Treat fellow participants, leaders, volunteers, staff, and facility personnel with respect.
Follow event rules, schedules, safety instructions, and reasonable directions from event organizers.
Participate actively and positively in scheduled activities.
Respect facilities, equipment, and property.
Avoid bullying, harassment, discrimination, violence, inappropriate conduct, or behavior that disrupts the event.
Failure to follow these expectations may result in:
Verbal or written warnings
Parent or guardian notification for minors
Restriction from certain activities
Removal from the event when necessary for safety or the well-being of others
For minors removed from an event, the parent or legal guardian will be responsible for arranging timely transportation.
Registration is considered complete only after:
Required registration information has been submitted;
Required acknowledgments and consents have been accepted;
Applicable fees or payment arrangements have been completed.
The organizing team reserves the right to modify event arrangements, limit participation, or cancel registrations when necessary due to safety, capacity, operational, or policy considerations.
