• Family Game Night Competition: Engage in fun, interactive family games to kick off the weekend with excitement and connection.

Saturday, October 12, 2024

• Outdoor Rosary: Begin the day with a peaceful outdoor family Rosary.

• Amazing Family Challenge: Strengthen family bonds through outdoor challenges.

• Session 1: Jesus, Light of the Family
  Reflect on the beauty of family, understand the challenges of modern "isms," and explore how following Jesus can illuminate and guide the family.

• Parents Summit and Kids Workshop: Following Session 1, parents will dive deeper into family-related topics, while children engage in fun, faith-filled activities.

• Bonfire: Enjoy fellowship and reflection around the bonfire in an outdoor setting.

• Talent Night Showcase: Families gather to share their talents and celebrate creativity in a fun-filled evening.

Sunday, October 13, 2024

• Mass: Celebrate together as a community.

• Session 2: As for Me and My Household, We Will Serve the Lord
  Recall God’s faithfulness, embrace His plan for your family, and be encouraged to serve the Lord with your household.

Registration Costs:

• Family Registration Fee: $50

• Attendee Cost: $95 per person

  • Includes meals and a bed in a shared room setting

• Kids 2-4 years old: $75 each

Family Discounts:

• Families with 3 or more children can avail of a 50% discount for the 3rd child and any additional children.

• The 1st and 2nd children will pay the full rate.

• This discount is available for the first 10 additional children only, so act quickly!

Conference Shirts:

• Recommended for all attendees. Available for a fee of $15 each. Show your conference spirit!

Alternative Registration Option (Lodging Only):

• Private Room: $200 (Maximum of 3 people)

  • Meal Cost: $45 per person

  • Kids 2-4 years old: $25 each

• Please Note: The alternative registration option is for lodging only. The family registration fee of $50 is still required.

Age Basis:

• Age is determined as of October 11, 2024, especially for the 4-year-old cutoff.

Show your creative side with two banner parades:

1. Area Banner Parade: Design a banner representing your area’s spirit, following the conference theme "Power Up" and including the CFC-Kids logo. (Dimensions: 36"W x 48"H)

2. Family Banner Parade: Showcase what makes your family unique! (Dimensions: 24"W x 36"H)

Banner Parade Guidelines

• Areas Participating: Kansas, Louisiana, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, DFW

• Use eco-friendly materials for your banner.

• The banner must reflect the conference theme and values of CFC.

Bring your family’s unique skills and talents to our "Families Got Talent" showcase!

• Each family can submit one entry (maximum of 3 minutes).

• If time allows, we may open up for additional entries after all families have performed.

October 11 (Friday): Come as you are

October 12 (Saturday morning): Coordinated family attire for unity

October 12 (Saturday afternoon): Wear the color based on when you joined the community:

• 80s: Pink

• 90s: Blue

• 2000-2007: Green

• 2008-2015: Yellow

• 2015-2020: Red

• 2020-2024: Purple

• Not yet with CFC: White

October 13 (Sunday): Wear your conference shirt or match the conference color scheme (Black).

• Email your estimated arrival time, special accommodation requests, and signed waivers to famcon24@couplesforchristdfw.org

• Settle your remaining fees before the event.

• Help keep the retreat center clean and use only your assigned bed/room.

• Meals provided: Saturday (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and Sunday (breakfast, lunch). Snacks will be available on Friday.

• Bring an open mind and a willingness to connect!
